Some areas in Cabagan, Isabela still flooded after typhoon 'Ulysses'

A few days after Typhoon Ulysses struck Luzon, the floods in Barangay Ngarag in the province of Cabagan, Isabela, are still within reach, and other residents have not yet returned to their homes.

The typhoon also affected the cornfield in the barangay. According to residents, the probability of their crops to survive is unpredictable since they do not know when the flood will subside.

Farmers are trying to dry wet crops such as rice and corn to preserve it for further consumption.

Meanwhile, residents are calling for assistance to provide a floodwater absorption machine, given that there is no drainage in the area.
