Sea trips suspended in areas under 'Quinta'

Philippine Coast Guard (PSG) Station Cebu temporarily suspends sea trips on storm signal routes due to Quinta's tropical depression.

PCG Cebu acting commander Alvin Dagalea has given the notice to evade naval accidents.

“Sea trips will resume when the weather and sea condition in affected areas improve,” he said.

The suspended trips are to Masbate, Quezon, Cavite, Bulacan, Occidental Mindoro, Bataan, Southern part of Zambales, Metro Manila, Eastern Samar, Northern part of Capiz, and Northern part of Antique, all of which are under signal No. 1.

Trips to areas under signal no. 2 such as Northern Samar, Romblon, North portion of Masbate, Albay, and others are also suspended.

Everyone is advised to take necessary or extra precautionary measures at all times.
