Raise your eggs!

What goes into your mind when you think about eggs? Is it scrambled eggs? The hard, slender feeling when you get to touch it? Or is it something else? Anyway, let us discover how this started and know why there is such a thing as egg's day.

Primarily, it was established at a conference in Vienna, Austria, in 1996, and then it was decided to be celebrated on the 2nd Friday of October every year. Today marks its 24th-year celebration!

We can all agree that eggs have become one of the world's staple breakfast, but little knows of its importance for our body.

Eggs have a good source of protein for the brain and the muscles. It also has nutrients such as betaine that can help the heart. Lastly, egg yolks contain antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin, which can help your eyesight.

Eggs go well with anything. It even goes well with nothing. What can we ask for more than a versatile, protein-packed, affordable treat? Just thinking of it makes my mouth water.

Have an eggcellent day ahead!
