Bea Alonzo drops gifts to orphans while riding ‘rocket ship’

Filipina actress Bea Alonzo delivered laptops and other essentials to abandoned children of the SOS Children’s Villages Philippines through a real-life Filipino version of the 'Over the Moon' rocket ship.

Alonzo's charity organization, I Am Hope, and the streaming giant Netflix, partnered to give early Christmas treats to the orphans in SOS Children’s Villages Philippines - an organization that cares for children who are abandoned and are in need, last week.

With this, the children were ecstatic for the chance to learn and experience a good education.

The actress said in her Instagram post that after watching the animated Netflix film, "Over The Moon," she got "inspired by its message of dreaming big and following your dream no matter what circumstances."

Also, Alonzo expressed her awareness about the importance of surviving in these trying times and not losing hope.

“...Survival must come first, especially in these trying times, but I pray that we will not lose hope.” She stated in her IG post.

Furthermore, the "rocket ship" as described looked like a mash-up of the Filipino jeepney and a vessel inspired by the animated movie.

Alonzo gave an inside tour on the said rocket ship jeepney and had an interview with Raymond Rimando, the village director of the SOS Philippines, regarding their organization, which can be streamed on her Youtube vlog uploaded last Saturday.
