Christian Obatay, 20, was stabbed by a minor along the Centennial Road in Barangay Alegria, Cordova, Cebu, on Tuesday afternoon, October 20, 2020.
The suspect is a 16-year-old high school student who was apprehended after the Cordova Police conducted a follow-up operation.
Based on a statement of Police Corporal Allen Vercede, it was an argument involving the two that led to the stabbing incident.
Obatay was then taken to the Mactan Doctors' Hospital to remove the knife from his back.
