Los Angeles Lakers have won the NBA Finals, dominating the Miami Heat with 106 to 90 on Sunday.
James was crowned the Finals MVP for the fourth time in his career, becoming the first player in NBA history to win the prize with three different teams.
James made a public pledge in a speech to play the season in honor of the late Kobe Bryant to a crying Staples Center audience in their first game after the tragedy.
"The one thing that we always shared was that determination to just always want to win and just want to be great. I want to continue along with my teammates, to continue his legacy...because that’s what Kobe Bryant would want.” James stated.
