Embattled media giant ABS-CBN Corp. has found its new home on free TV

Updated: Oct 12, 2020

On Tuesday, ABS-CBN officially confirmed its broadcasting agreement with the recently rebranded A2Z Channel 11, formerly known as Zoe TV, a free-to-air channel owned by an evangelist and Jesus is Lord Church Worldwide founder, Bro. Eddie Villanueva.

The agreement allows ABS-CBN to attract back viewers on free TV after a 5-month absence following its network's shutdown. Tomorrow, viewers will be able to watch some Kapamilya teleseryes, movies, and entertainment shows.

The Kapamilya noontime show, "It's Showtime," will air live tomorrow, while "ASAP Natin 'to" on Sunday to bring musical performances and fun games for viewers. There is also a marathon telecast for "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano," "Ang Sa Iyo ay Akin," and "Walang Hanggang Paalam" this weekend before the regular primetime run of their fresh episodes on weeknights starting Monday, October 12.

In the coming weeks, A2Z will broadcast public service programs, "Paano Kita Mapapasalamatan" and "Iba 'Yan." Live discussions of "Magandang Buhay," "I Can See Your Voice," and Asia's longest-running drama anthology "MMK" will also be enjoyed by the viewers.

A2Z Channel 11 will be seen on analog TV in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. It will also be available on cable and satellite television operators across the country.

Indeed, the long wait is over. Enthrallment and excitement filled the air for people shall soon reunite with their favorite Cardo Dalisay and other iconic Kapamilya teleserye characters and tv personalities.

Better days are coming for ABS-CBN.
